The PPG is a relatively small group of individuals but we are not necessarily a representative sample of the patient base, and there is little chance that we will become so - most PPG members are retired and have the luxury of being able to dedicate time to the group.
So, in order to create a more representative group and to enable people to be involved who may not have time to come to the surgery for meetings we have formed a Patient Reference Group (PRG). This group can exchange views, participate in practice surveys and with whom we can consult from time to time by e-mail. The only stipulation is that you are a patient at Clarendon Lodge Medical Practice.
Members of the PRG are contacted from time-to-time with questions or surveys on topics such as what you think about opening times or the quality of the care or service you receive?
Contact is via email and we aim to keep our surveys short and to the point so it shouldn’t take too much of your time. We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
If you would like to take part in the PRG please download and fill in the Contact Form and email it to clpgMembership@gmail.com or hand it in to reception at the surgery. We will be in touch shortly after we receive your form.
