‘Swim Together’ at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre
If you would like to experience being in the water to help your physical and mental health, then our new ‘Swim Together’ adult sessions could be for you (18 years old and over)! Leamington PCN have teamed up with Mental Health Swims, Swim England and Everyone Active to deliver these sessions. Led by our trained professionals, we will provide a safe space for you to enjoy the benefits of water, especially if swimming is something you’ve not tried before or for a very long time.
Location: Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre, Newbold Terrace East, Leamington Spa, CV32 4EW
Please note we are unable to offer transportation to the venue.
Time and dates: Monday 8.00pm to 9.00pm (weekly) and Friday 1.00pm to 2.00pm (weekly). A member of the ‘Swim Together’ team will meet you before the session and will be at poolside during the session for you to talk to.
Required kit: Please bring along a swim suit, £1 coin for the lockers and a towel.
How much does it cost? From th+e date you start your first Swim Together session, you will be entitled access to all available Swim Together sessions in the 12 weeks that follow for FREE. After 12 weeks, you will ‘graduate’ onto a 12 week ‘social prescribing membership’ with Everyone Active to access Swim Together sessions (as well as other Everyone Active swim sessions) at a reduced rate of £2 per session (usually £5.70).
How do I sign up? Please tick the box below to send your request to our Leamington PCN Health and Wellbeing Coach, who will then make a direct referral to the team at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre. PLEASE NOTE, by ticking this box, you are consenting us to transfer details from your medical records (e.g. name, address, any relevant medical conditions), across to the exercise referral team. Once submitted, you will hear directly from Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre, who will confirm details of your swim sessions.
