If you need help when we are closed
If you need urgent help for your physical or mental health when the general practice is closed, and you cannot wait until we open, go online to 111.nhs.uk or call 111. They will tell you what to do next.
Please only use the service if you feel your condition cannot wait until the next working day.
What if it’s an emergency?
If it’s a serious or life-threatening emergency, go straight to A&E (Accident and Emergency) or call 999.
Physical accessibility
The surgery has a ramp as well as steps leading to the entrance, making it accessible to those who use wheelchairs or walking aids. As the surgery is a converted building, several doctors usually work upstairs.
We have a consulting room available on the ground floor so it may be helpful for you to mention your special needs when making your appointment.
We want to get better at communicating with our patients. We want to make sure you can read and understand the information we send you. If you find it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know:
- If you need information in braille, large print or easy read.
- If you need a British Sign Language interpreter or advocate.
- If we can support you to lipread or use a hearing aid or communication tool.
- If you feel there is anything more Clarendon Lodge can do to accommodate your needs regarding our communication
